How long will my delivery take?

There are three types of products that you can order from Fastenerstop which affect delivery times

1. 'Standard' products are products that do not fall into our 'Big & Bulky' or 'Supplier Delivered' product categories.
2. 'Big & Bulky' products, which are identified by the following logos:

    = 'Big & Bulky' 7-day delivery lead time
3. 'Supplier Delivered' products, which are identified by the following logos (with delivery lead times specified on the logo):

We will always endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible to minimise any inconvenience. This means that when your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order. However, when you place an order containing a mix of products including 'Supplier Delivered' items, one single delivery will not be possible, as our 'Supplier Delivered' products are delivered direct from the supplier.

'Standard' products

Please check our Postcode Matrix – before you place your order – to check when your products will be delivered, as some postcodes may not be eligible for next-day delivery.

Where our next-day delivery service is available, it applies to 'standard' products that are ordered Monday – Thursday before 6pm.

For orders placed on a Friday before 6pm, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Monday.

For orders placed between 6pm on a Friday and 6pm on a Sunday, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Tuesday.

Saturday delivery is available for £5 extra (see Delivery Charges table below for details and exclusions).

'Big & Bulky' products

'Big & Bulky' products like jumbo bags of sand can now be ordered online and are identified by these logos on the product detail page:

'Big & Bulky' product available to order online, in-store or by phone.

Big & Bulky' product available to order online, in-store or by phone, delivery normally within 7 working days.

 ('Big & Bulky' 7-day delivery lead time) products are not available for next-day delivery to any postcode.

Where our next-day delivery service is available, it only applies to 'Big & Bulky' products with this logo:  on orders placed between Monday–Thursday before 6pm and is only available for customers who require the products to be delivered to an address within a 10 mile radius of a Fastenerstop store.

Big & Bulky deliveries are scheduled to be delivered between 7am and 8pm.

For orders placed on a Friday before 6pm, we will try to deliver 'Big & Bulky' products the following Monday.

For orders placed between 6pm on a Friday and 6pm on a Sunday, we will try to deliver 'Big & Bulky' products the following Tuesday.

If you have ordered a combination of 'Big & Bulky' products and non 'Big & Bulky' products with different lead times they will usually be delivered together. This may mean that certain products within your order will be subject to a longer delivery time than advised elsewhere on our website.

We will always endeavour to give one single delivery where possible to minimise any inconvenience, but where certain items in your order are being sent direct to you from one of our partner suppliers this will not be possible.

Supplier Delivered products

Supplier Delivered products are delivered by our partner suppliers; companies that provide their products directly to the customer, due to size, weight or manufacturing constraints.

Supplier Delivered products are identified with these logos on the product detail page, and are delivered direct from the supplier within the number of working days shown:

Upon receipt of your order, our partner supplier will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date and time. Please note that products ordered from our partner suppliers are not part of the Fastenerstop delivery policy as detailed above.

How much will my delivery cost?

Will there be Packaging & Handling charges in addition to the Delivery cost? 

Some products have an additional packaging and handling charge per item to contribute towards the extra cost involved in transporting them safely. The packaging and handling charge is displayed on the product information page and is applied at checkout.

Can I specify a time and date for delivery?

If you would like AM delivery we can do this for 'Standard' products for just £5 extra. This option is not available for deliveries containing 'Big & Bulky', 'Big & Bulky 7' or 'Supplier Delivered' products.

If you would like a Saturday delivery we can do this for 'Standard' and 'Big & Bulky' products for just £5 extra. This option is not available for deliveries containing 'Big & Bulky 7' or 'Supplier Delivered' products.

Unfortunately, Fastenerstop cannot amend any other anticipated delivery dates.

Where can Fastenerstop deliver items? 

Fastenerstop delivers to mainland UK (Great Britain) addresses. However, we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland or remote and offshore locations.

Do I have to sign for delivery? 

The delivery company will require a person over the age of 18 to sign for goods as proof of receipt. Although we recommend you sign for your own goods, it is not required that the signature be from the specified recipient
